Joann’s - the official restaurant of the Austin Motel - encapsulates classic 1950s diner style, but is peppered with quirks and contemporary nuance.
The Joann's logo features the signature red lips of Liz Lambert's mom Joann - her smile appearing on custom coasters, matchbooks and napkins. We designed a set of custom bowls and plates with little surprise graphics revealed at the end of a meal.
Joann's iconic lips are also the focus of the neon signage that spins and 'kisses’ - a beacon on South Congress, greeting all that pass by.
